SOGBESAN, Abayomi Olusola LLB, LLM, BL. He was born May 22, 1939 in Lagos. Married Flora Abiodun Etomi 1965. Educational timeline are but not limited to: CMS Girls’ School, Lagos, 1944-48, Araromi Baptist School, Lagos, 1949-52, Eko Boys’ High School, Lagos, 1953-57, Westminster College, Lon don, 1959-60, London School of Economics and Political Science, 1960-63, Yale University Law School, 1963-64. He was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1966.

He became a Lecturer in Law, University of Lagos from 1964-1966. He was also a Lecturer in Law, University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), IleIfe, 1966-1968. He became a Research Fellow in Law, Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Lagos, 1968-71.

He became a Principal Practitioner in Obafemi Awolowo and Company between 1971-80; Founder and Principal Partner, Abayomi Sogbesan and Company (Legal Practitioners) since 1980. He was a member of Institute of Arbitrators, a member of International Maritime Association and was Admitted to the Inner Bar and Conferred with Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 1983.
