Born 6 March 1909 – 9 May 1987), Obafemi Awolowo was educated at Wesley College, Ibadan and obtained the degree of Bachelor of Commerce (Hons). He then proceeded to England to study law and was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple on 19 November 1946.

Segun Awolowo BA Cantab January 20 1939- July 10 1963 Attended Agbeni Methodist school Ibadan and Igbobi college Lagos was called to the English bar in 1962 he played a major in the defence team during the treasonable felony trial of Action group members in 1963.

29 Dec 1944 - 11 may 2011. Otunba Ayodele Soyode was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1974 after having obtained a 1st degree in political Science from the University of Exeter in 1968 and a 2nd bachelors degree in law from the University of Ife (now renamed the Obafemi Awolowo University)
