Attended Obafemi Awolowo university Ile-Ife where he obtained a Bachelor of law degree he was subsequently called to the Nigerian bar 16th of December 1992. He proceeded to work for the firm of G.O.K Ajayi and Co prior to joining the firm in July 1995. He is one of the two current partners in the firm Mr Soyode oversees the Real Estate Finance Trademarks and Patents, Family and probate groups of the firm he is also the partner in charge of governmental relations.

He is a former secretary to Apapa local government where the firm has its historical address , was a cabinet ranked special adviser to the Osun state government, he is an author and lawyer with legal footprints with the state bar of california and the law society of England and Wales.
